Digital X-Rays

Our office utilizes Digital radiography (digital X-ray), which is the latest technology in taking dental X-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor or plate (instead of X-ray film) to capture and store the digital image on a computer.

This image can be instantly viewed and enlarged, helping the dentist and dental hygienist detect problems and allows the patient to see and better understand the findings with ease.  Digital X-rays are also better for you and for the environment. Digital x-rays significantly reduce the amount of radiation needed, compared to the traditional dental film X-rays and environment friendly because both photo chemicals and hazardous waste are eliminated

Dental X-rays are essential, to detecting decay, tumors, cysts and bone loss and other hidden dental problems and abnormalities not visible to the naked eye. Without X-rays, problem areas can go undetected.
