Dental Articulator and Face Bow

Our diagnostics in Occlusal Care and TMJ treatments are some of the most advanced in the industry. To show exactly why you are suffering from your particular symptoms, we use a dental articulator and face bow.

A dental articulator is a special instrument, like a jaw simulator, that allows us to mount models of your teeth and orient them in space to show how they function. It works in a very similar way to the jaw so that if your bite is off or your teeth worn, the articulator will allow us to show – in three dimensions – how your jaw is affected and how we can correct it.

By visually representing where the teeth position is in relation to the joints, we can test the correct position, recreate a functional bite and demonstrate it to you. This is done even before we begin treating your mouth. We then use this information as a blueprint for our treatment.
